How we build networks

A network is only as good as the people on it and the trust between them. These are the rules we build by.

Why start small?

Networks are useful when the people you need are already on them. So we start where we can be useful from day one.

Each product begins with one community, dense enough that a new member finds the right people on their first visit. Then it grows outward, community by community, instead of spreading thin across the world at once.

How do you earn trust?

Trust is designed in from the first version, not added after a problem.

That means verification where it matters, clear controls over who can reach you, safety tools that work in every language we support, and human review wherever software alone isn't enough.

How do your products grow?

Through people bringing people they trust, not through tricks.

We grow by invitation and real recommendation. No dark patterns, no contact-list scraping, no notifications designed to pull people back for nothing.

Who are your products for?

Everyone, which means designing for the people most products leave out.

Our products are built for many languages, slow connections and low-cost phones, and to work with screen readers and other assistive technology, from the first line of code.

How do you measure success?

By the connections that change something, not the minutes spent on a screen.

A job found. A friendship made. A partner met. A question answered by the one person who knew. Those are the numbers we report to ourselves.

What happens to people's data?

People own it. We collect what a product needs, explain why, and let people take it with them or delete it.

Privacy by default isn't a setting. It's how each product is designed.

Build it with us.

We're looking for partners and founding team members who care about these rules as much as we do.
